CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. If given 7 or more days notice prior to the date of check-in, the 50% deposit will be refunded, minus any processing fees associated with a credit card or e-transfer.

  2. Less than 7 days notice prior to the date of check-in, and the entire 50% deposit will be retained.

  3. Cancellations within 24 hours of the reserved check-in date will be charged in full. If the reservation is filled, there will be a full reimbursement, minus any processing fees associated with a credit card or e-transfer.

  4. No-shows will be billed in full.

  5. COVID related cancellations are dealt with on a case by case basis. When government restrictions prevent travelling to the area, the deposit will be fully reimbursed.


PET POLICY

FEE: $15 plus tax per animal. This fee is charged once per reservation.
Dogs & cats are welcome - please read below to understand the expectations, rules and fees:
*#5 pertains to fees from extra cleaning or damage due to pets

  1. Do not allow pets on the furniture or the beds.

  2. If your dog sheds excessively, please cover the furniture with the extra bedding provided in the Pet Basket.

  3. Pet basket you ask?? As a dog & cat lover myself, I know their nature. The Pet Basket is in the closet with towels, sheets, poo bags, lint rollers etc. In case your dog does cool things like get soaked, covered in mud or won’t stay off the furniture, there are ways to mitigate the cleaning that would be required after you check out. It also includes rags and each cabin has vinegar under the sink for an initial cleanup if something happens.

  4. Accidents happen! Please let me know and I will work with you to help clean things up while you are here. Letting me know if your pet was sick, pooped/peed in the cabin makes sure that it is cleaned up properly for the next guests.

  5. In the event of damage or if deep cleaning is required due to pets, compensation will be pursued. If your pet becomes ill or there are bodily fluids on carpets, beds, or furniture, a fee may be charged. All incidents are approached individually depending on the circumstances and what is required to fix, restore, sanitize and/or ready the area for the next guests.

If you are thinking about bringing your cat along, please be realistic of your cat’s comfort levels with traveling and being away from home. Cats can cause major damage to wood / furniture and are not as accustomed to travel, potentially making them very uncomfortable. Please review #5 on the list above and decide with all of this in mind.

CAT POLICIES:

  1. All cats must be in a kennel if you plan to leave the cat unsupervised for any length of time.

  2. All cats must have their own litter box and owners should diligently clean it over the course of their stay.

  3. If there is any history of spraying urine on / frequently scratching furniture, please do not bring your cat!

    Accepting cats is a trial and may not continue. So far the cats have been very relaxed types who have enjoyed their stay and owners have been incredibly tidy and conscientious.


SMOKING POLICY

  1. No smoking of any kind inside. No incense.

  2. If smoking inside occurs, there is an automatic $250 fee charged to the credit card on file, or billed to the guest.
